Johannes Kroemer Photo

Johannes Kroemer
Johannes Kroemer was born in a small town in Thuringia, surrounded by seven mountains behind the Iron Curtain in East Germany. Eventually feeling the urge to get out, and after trying Munich and Berlin he settled in New York City in 1993. He went to Photography School in Germany and the United States.

After graduating International Center of Photography
in New York Johannes worked for documentary photographers
Gilles Peress and Sylvia Plachy. Kroemer’s own work can
be seen to be many things -crisp, clean, vibrant,
and cinematic are adjectives that spring to mind.
Assignments have taken him all over the World, from remote
places such as the Antarctica, Patagonia and Guantanamo Bay
to cities all over the United States, shooting portraits
and feature stories for clients in the US and Europe.

Rylan Schoen-Rylan Schoen Photo

Rylan Schoen
I rarely ever have a bad day. I live in Bellingham, WA, and the North Cascades are my home. Expansive landscapes, big storms, and a desire for adventure keep me rooted in the area.

I spend the majority of Winter trying to ski as much as possible. I despise the monotony of the hour-plus one-way drive to the mountain, but immediately forget these negative thoughts when the snow begins to weigh down the boughs of the old growth.

I have been supporting myself full time with photography for five years and can think of nothing else I would rather do. When not skiing, I work with Google as a contracted photographer and run my own Real Estate panorama photography business.

I look forward to storm days, fast internet, a great burrito, and most importantly I look forward to having fun.
